a final mom's day post. promise.

...for me!

i received a few
cards.
gifts.
texts.
emails.

thank you.
i enjoyed my day.

my first mom's day card is from my dear, Paisley.

there is nothing more sweet than a little tyke so excited about their work.
she did such a great job tracing her name!

this one from my mom n dad.

looking forward to that maternity shopping spree...
well large maternity clothes can hold off for a bit if they'd like.

ha!
this is why i love john.
a little creativity will get you a lot of points and apparently he gets that.
if you can't read this card it says:
"There's nothing quite as nauseating
as a sleepy little head
nestled in your uterus."

perfect change of words right now.

i was very crabby the day before mother's day and frustrated with feeling
nauseous, ravenous all the time or exhausted.
if it wasn't one it was the other...
 luckily he wrote
JUST
what i needed to hear.

he made me a lovely breakfast of pancakes with berries, goetta, and fruit.
i didn't need to unwrap something-
just needed a little encouragement.

thanks for that.
your daddy is a winner, kid.
you'll see.
