... not grandmother's house, but to aunt taryn's house we go! it was your first road trip and sleep over. mark it and check it.  little lamb was great in the car to columbus and cleveland.  slept most or all of the way. jillian drove both ways to cleveland, she's such a peach. we stayed with auntie jillie and uncle matt in columbus and they took such good care of us. you slept like a champ and it was so nice having a wife all weekend. my boss told me everyone needs a wife. it couldn't be more true. husbands are wonderful of course, but wife's, they just know what we need, when we need it. i have to give matt props for warming up the car, making brownies, rocking you while we were getting our stuff together or i had to shower. you were surely spoiled. our MF crew. sorry didn't have time to photoshop mary in here. still making the reunions happen.  (please excuse my shirt. it's not really cut like that, but stella is pulling it down.) all t...

this past weekend we mini vanned it (yes, mini vanned) up to chicago. mom, dad, john, lea, pockets + myself - almost a packed mini. although we didn't stay in the heart of the city it was nice to explore a new area. andersonville. who knew?! like any get away - it was too short. but, nothing short of a good time.  1. my cuz. ryan. he got married. he's the bomb.  2. ryan sharing a dance with his momma, my auntie rosa. 3. ryan, the new hubby married mandy. she's so lovely! 4. the mood was chill and had the duo's vibe all over it. look at these flores. 5. traditional italian wedding treats - almonds and wishes for the new couple. 1. melts my heart. pockets wanting to hold johns hand. 2. pockets friendly kangaroo, that she named "Guk" 3. a time to nurse. 4. one of many smiles and giggles. 5. hubs on our walk. 6. a preggie shot. growing by the minute. 1. 1918 bowling alley that replaced the sunday kickball game due to the weather. 2. colored balls. 3. piss...

Things I like.

another set of  things i like . the swab jar . sounds sorta nasty, BUT i love this thing. i was so excited to register for this guy. thank you matt lenz & family for making this one of your purchases.  you have no idea how happy it makes me that our swabs have a tidy home of their own. yes. red, velour jump suits . or any velour jump suits. i used to have quite the collection in college. they weren't cool then either, but i'm sorry, J Lo was on to something as they are so cozy. i also like red wine. orchids . whether or not i can keep them alive is debatable. but i like them. a lot. an oldie, but a goodie. my tv in my nyc studio. not a lot of space. i didn't watch much tv bc i didn't care to. this little guy was blk and wht and $1.00 at a garage sale.  it sounded with some static, but when i had to watch election coverage it did the trick. i'm saddened at the fact that i didn't take it back home with me,  but lack of space was the name of that game...

an e-versary.

...a truck down memory lane and re-hashing a great memory. 2 years ago today, john surprised me multiple times in one day. one of them being a proposal to be his wifey. i obviously said yes. i just re-read my massive email about our engagement festivities and thought I would do an updated post on the event. on May 16, 2009 I had plans to meet my friend Jessie in Central Park  for: coffee a walk and pictures. i was less than a month away from moving home so we wanted to take advantage of NYC and time together. running late gives me anxiety, but it happens all too frequently. it was a rainy morning which pushed back my jog and pushed back our meeting. (luckily "she" was running late too). When I got to our meeting spot  I called Jessie. C: "Hiiii Where are you?"   J:  I am right by the fountain don't you see me?   I say no and try to search harder.  Lots of people are around, however I usually can spot Ms. Coleman.   J:  Wait I see you... ...

the sober one + nugget's 1st wedding weekend.

not that i spend my time getting "trashed" every weekend, but this past weekend a friend of mine got married and naturally, due to my current state of no drinking i was the dd . the whole mf crew and mf-husbands (note: i am not going to share what mf stands for since it's not technically pc, but note that it does not stand for the mother of all cusswords...) traveled to new philly, ohio to celebrate jenn+dave! we had a great time and learned how much that Sheetz was a winner. Sheetz! aka everyone's favorite hang out. a true life saver. since it was nugget's first road trip i wanted to be prepared for the 4 hour ride + hotel eatings. apparently i was a little nervous i would starve, but we ended up being all ok. thanks for saving the majority of naus until after the wedding weekend.  don't worry nugget, moma's always prepared. not to toot my own horn, but i will.  TOOT! i stayed up/out like the best of them. for every beer or wine that was sipped i had...
