wedding de jeryn

Image
i'm a little behind due to being under the weather, but i have to say what a fun, full weekend! one of my dearest friends, miss taryn married jer. i'm over the moon thrilled for these two. it was so apparent that they are crazy in love and compliment each other so well. the mood was relaxed, the weather was like fall and our friends and babies played! it was stella's first time in a wedding (she's now tied with me) and apparently she parties better than i do. right before the wedding i broke our camera (fail) and my phone was on low battery so i had to constantly steal photos and iphones to snap some shots. i had great intentions of being awesome at both haha! thank you so much, jeryn for such a good time! it was an honor to celebrate with you and be able to reconnect with friends. missing you already.   crap. i just realized i spelled awesomeness wrong. i'm not changing it now.

I stole some hi-lites about the kiddies, written by my mom: Josie- has an extra stomach for ice cream. Used to live in HHI with Poppi Booboo a long long time ago. ten seconds of melting.

a little something light hearted today. this little clip makes me so happy. i started taking pics because bird was so interested in the guitar. i was able to snag this little piece of dada and daughter making music. i didn't really know what i was catching until afterward. and then. i melted into a liquid form of love into the floor. it's short, but i just love that bird brings her own little beat to the mix. rock on my little eggnoodle!

reflections on independence.

this isn't a political blog nor will it be but i write on my musings and this is one of them... because i care. about us. the people. now lately, i feel i'm being labeled as political. i'd like to set the story straight. i'm not. i'm not political. what i am is passionate. i'm passionate about freedom. my freedom. my family's freedom. your freedom. my passion happens to stem in so called political issues. and there in lies the problem with this said freedom. we've been taught we are free, and due to the plethora of distractions and the disinterest in what's really going on, we, the people, the free american, citizens, those of the 'land of the free, home of the brave' are blinded. i was blind too. very. a recent conversation had someone inquiring about ron paul and the libertarians of the world. libertarians were quickly labeled "anti government" and the conversation dropped into "we need government. we need

tuesdays with  are for moma. if i told you that i day goes by when i don't want to go straight home to be with my bird after work, i'd be lying. we play. it's fun. but on tuesday i have my yoga. and with my yoga comes my yogis. and with the yogis comes nicki, our warrior leader. over two years ago, mel asked me to go to this yoga class- donation only. westside. and at that time I was living a little closer than I do now. so i thought, ok, i'll give it a go. and i loved it. i only knew mel, but still loved it. and though living a little farther, i'm still going. it quickly became a weekly ritual. random room in a church in rain, outside for sun. if you do yoga, you'll know that doing yoga outside under a tree is heavenly. over the years I've gained some pretty great relationships. while i don't see most of them, but once a week and don't get to chat, but before or after class, it's still the type of crew you know you can call
