ladies and gentlemen!!
i proudly announce
we have a heartbeat!
ok, not that i questioned it was there,
but it was so neat to hear your real live beating heart.
like, ok there really is a creature growing in there.
you aren't just all the food i've been packing in for you...
you have a strong 160 beat.
myth would say you are a girl.
i'm not sold. but i'm not totally sold you are a boy either.
daddy's heartbeat said he was going to be a girl.
your aunt becky's beat said boy.
mythical FAIL for that family!
either way it was exciting and i was hoping we'd get to take a listen.
i also enjoyed that your midwife said my abdominal muscles were tight
while finding my uterus.
she gained more points.
the key to a woman's heart isn't diamonds.
it's complimenting her abdominals and being creative.
ok, at least this woman's heart.
daddy liked hearing it too.
he said it was so fast (indeed it is!) and also sounded like a tire oscillation.
yes, daddy compared your precious beat to a tire.
we still love him though.
your midwife is great.
i had the privilege of already spending 5 days with her
during your auntie lea's labor and birth
and i saw her in action!
so our first meeting was very comfortable for me since i already spent so much time with her.
not everyone can say that about their doctor or midwife
so i feel very lucky to know how she works!
luckily daddy liked her too so she is hired.
your heartbeat was definitely the hi-lite of our visit
(way to steal the show!)
but
I received a good report card.
pretty much straight A's.
don't worry I won't be mad if you don't get straight A's.
my diet and amount of daily protein are good.
the only thing I got an S+ in was orange vege intake for the week
so in order to improve that and get an O next time
(for Outstanding of course...)
we are going to have to start eating more sweet potatos.
Capeech?
So far, you aren't so bad kid.
Keep up the good work.
it is still beyond me that you are the size of a lime and your heart beats so fast!!!
