every city needs a flea, eh!

and now we have one!
this past weekend, friends, nick and lindsay
launched their new project the {513} City Flea.
i am so proud of all their efforts and thrilled we have yet another fab "to do" in cinci.
these 2 city dwellers are helping bring more life into cinci and otr -
we are so lucky to have the lindsay and nick's here!

i lugged my massive camera down to hit the flea, but didn't get many pics 
b.c. i was engrossed in all the goodies and sipping on an ice cold mango tea!
i posted a couple shots, but apologies for not being on my game.

i almost bought this little gem twice over. 
i came home without it. 
i had a vision for the babies room, but didn't want to get it without john 
(he had to work. insert sad face).
next time i know we will find some babytastic finds for the nugget room.

Had to run off after barely getting a peak, but the city flea is what I am looking for. Afternoon of fun, sun, bikers and walkers, colors, and artisans.
Bought a few things, but should have gotten that bag, no, not Caren's bag, my bag.

One year. There's still a side that does not want to give the past year my time, but truth is it does indeed warrant the reflection. It flew us into chaos and back, upside down and completely steady again. And it continues to do so. It was Thursday the 12th (2020). Everyone was acting quickly, chaotically and given the immensity of the circumstances, I believe irrationally. In the digitized age we live, it's easy to breathe the hype and addiction to the flooding of information and if your inner core is in fact feeling unsafe, judgement, or fear then I can assure you it won't be a completely rational decision. hurdles [sleeping thru the night]

er, or not sleeping through the night rather. "no, she is not sleeping through the night. thanks." this actually is what i want to say sometimes, but i'm trying to stay positive. and disclaimer: please don't read this and think i am talking about you if you have asked me this before. it's more irritating to be asked over and over by the same person expecting a different response. isn't that the definition of insanity? hmmm. just because other 5 month old babies sleep thru doesn't mean that mine will at this time. and just because they sleep through at 2, 3 or 4 months doesn't mean that stella fits that exact  cookie cutter mold. hmph. every heard of individuality? unique? if this sounds defensive, i probably am and that is probably due to the fact that i am tired. do i want a full night's sleep? duh. am i used to getting up 3-4x a night lately? yes. am i functioning on broken sleep ok? barely. will this las...
