a*holes meet a*ville

yes i called us the assholes.
but it was sort of fun to refer to ourselves as that.
since john works our real anniversary weekwnd and i am saving every day possible
for maternity we decided to go away for the long weekend.
the a*holes have been saving
(er, at least this a*hole has...)

... so yea, the a*holes met a*ville.

i knew we would have a good time
but hopefully i can speak for the both of us when i said we had a great time.
i am in love with asheville, nc.
it was the perfect mix of mountain air and quaint city streets.
we stayed in an adorable chalet 5 minutes from downtown asheville
& would highly recommend the stay - we plan on going back.

we were fed well! the food was just delectable.
we tried out
the laughing seed

thank goodness for the walking and hiking as i consumed so much.

we checked out the town of montreat and hiked a "moderate" trail.
however, i would like to see the "strenuous" trails as J and i sweated our asses off
and my 7m preggo booty made it and i was proud of myself,
but it would have sent someone into braxton hicks if they weren't exercising regularly.

we took an evening drive down the blueridge parkway
and checked out the blue.ridge.flea.market

and bought these little autumn/winter booties for our little.

we were lucky enough to stumble upon
the friday night drumcircle in downtown a.ville

it was the perfect weekend and i am so happy we decided to get away
before the nugget decides to join us.
some quality us time and realistically our last us time
pre-little.

**on our hike we passed this heart shaped stump.
i snapped a cheese-infested picture with our rings**
happy early anni. to my sweet.
a lucky gal, indeed i am.
