How To: Kale Chips

i ate better in TRI I.
i need to add some more green leafy veges to the mix.
green leafy veges are especially important to pregnant and lactating women
because of all the vitamins and minerals they supply.
and they help with milk supply for all you b*feeding momas or momas to be.

my midwife recommended kale chips.
so i wrote down the quick how to:

cut the kale into bite size pieces.

toss in a bowl with just a teaspoon of olive oil.
the KEY is not to add too much bc the chips wont chip if saturated.

oil your baking sheet. again, just a graze.

sprinkle parm cheese and salt to taste.
cook 350* until crispy and browned edges.

bag and save.

i should have put less oil in, but they weren't bad. i mean, nothing like dark chocolate, but fine to eat if i'm hungry lol!

Try lightly steamed then add lemon juice and a pinch of salt. I like dino kale better than the ruffly kind. You can cut it up small for veggie scrambled eggs. Well, kale is an acquired taste, I think. Good luck!
